Karma Sawka
Karma Sawka – Karma began to write reviews for MostlyFiction.com in February 2002 after she was recruited while reporting an error she found at the site. She is an avid reader with strong interest in multicultural literature, especially in the immigrant experience. She belongs to a face-to-face reading group and is a frequent participant with the online reading group The Book Group List. Karma is an educator and holds bachelor degrees in English Literature, German Language and Literature, as well as a Master’s in Education. In 2002, she won a Fulbright fellowship to visit India (however the trip was postponed to 2003 due to troubles between India and Pakistan). She is a native of Seattle, Washington where she lives with her husband and daughter. Karma has reviewed the following:
