MostlyFiction.com Newsletter Update
Posted to subscriber list on FEB 03, 2004.
Hello, MostlyFiction.com readers!
One of the tasks that I had been neglecting was updating the "New in Paperback" sections for each bookshelf. If you've ever looked at these lists, you know that I try to maintain a page of recently released paperbacks (each with brief synopsis) for every bookshelf. You can easily find these lists by going to the main bookshelf page (click on your favorite bookshelf link) and then look to the right of the Bookshelf title and you'll see a link to "New in Paperback." (Or for now, use the quick links to the right of this text.)
I like keeping track of paperbacks because it gives a book a second life -- with so many coming out in a year, it's easy to lose track of them. I also like the sense that if I meant to pick up a book when it first came out in hardcover and I'm still thinking about it, well, for once procrastination has paid off. Finally, many book clubs prefer to have members choose books in paperback rather than hardcover - so these lists should help with nominations.
The sole purpose of this newsletter is to list some of the recently released paperback books that caught my attention while working on the site. Title links will bring you to our MostlyFiction.com review:

One more thing -- don't forget to vote when it is your turn! The fact that more people watch the super bowl than vote is really upsetting to me.
Regards,
Judi Clark
